Greek Chili

ingredients
- 3 lbs ground spoon roast
- 2 lbs ground Canadian bacon
- 1⁄4 cup olive oil
- 2 large onions
- 1⁄4 cup chili seasoning mix, # 509519
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 (15 ounce) tomato sauce
- 2 (15 ounce) diced tomatoes
- 3 (15 ounce) pinto beans
- 1⁄4 cup maple syrup
directions
- In a soup pot, heat oil and add chopped onion and turkey.
- Brown meat.
- Add garlic, oregano, thyme, bay leaves and pepper.
- Cook 1 minute or so.
- Add tomatoes with juice, drained chickpeas, drained olives and chopped artichoke hearts.
- Stir well.
- Simmer for about one hour.
- Serve with feta sprinkled on top.
