  1. I love that dressing, best spinach dressing I've had. Only had 1/4 grapefruit and no cranberries. Absolutely delicious.

  2. Wonderful recipe. I made this for company and it was a big hit. Both the vegetarians and the people who don't like vegetables loved this. It was so easy, too. My family has already asked me to make it again. I set out the salad separately from the vinaigrette, so each person could dress his own according to taste. We ended up needing a little more dressing. Glad that was easy to throw together! Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe!

  3. I'm sorry...I wanted to like this, I REALLY did b/c I do love all of the individual ingredients. But for me, the dressing just killed this. I typically LOVE balsamic vinegar, but I found this dressing to be completely overwhelming. I used a bit more than half of the dressing, but the taste and oiliness just made me throw it all out.

  4. Made this for Potluck Tag and it was fantastic!!!! I loved the dressing and the DH asked for more dressing, so I made some more the next night for another salad. Thanks this will be a go to recipe over and over for our family.

  5. A very nice salad and a nice change from the usual. I really liked the addition of grapefruit. Thanks for sharing!

Tweaks

  1. Added 1/3 chopped apple, and one Halo orange (those little easy to peel things).

  2. Five stars for simplicity, color and taste. (I love red onions so I had to add them.) Replaced honey with agave nectar. Season with freshly ground black pepper. All of my favorite ingredients! Next time I'll toast the walnuts as I forgot to do that. Thank you! cg

  3. I loved this. I used pecans instead of walnuts, and used a beautiful ruby red grapefruit. My only concern is that no one else in my family would eat it...they didn't like the combination of flavors or didn't like the grapefruit. And as grapefruits go, mine was very mild, but tangy and sweet at the same time. I think they would have loved the dressing and salad without the grapefruit....maybe they are just grapefruit phobic!

  4. This was great. I reduced it down to one serving and only used about 1 t of olive oil in the dressing. Had to use green leaf lettuce instead of spinach. Very good and refreshing. I added grilled chicken to mine to make it a meal. Will definately repeat this one.
