ingredients
- 5 cups old fashioned oats
- 5 teaspoons cinnamon (yes 5!)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3⁄4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup canola oil
- 1⁄3 cup honey
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar (dark brown is best, but light brown works too)
directions
- mix together oats, cinnamon, salt and pecans and set aside.
- Melt together oil, honey and brown sugar. Do not bring to boil, just heat until sugar is melted.
- Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.
- Spread evenly on cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10-12 min
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before breaking apart.
- can add raisins after cooling. Golden raisins are the best.

Absolutely loved this granola, & I not only followed the recipe, but took your tip & added in some golden raisins! I'm especially partial to cinnamon so found that particular ingredient well-worth including! Will certainly be making this one again & again! Thanks for posting the recipe!
