Grandpa's Famous German Pancakes

"I love this recipe because each time I make this breakfast it takes me back to my childhood wakin up to the smell of my grandpas cooking. This was one of my favorite breakfasts he would make for me. Make sure to let the butter melt in the frying pan while the oven heats up"

  • Place melted butter into a Large frying pan and set it into the oven. Set the oven at 475 degrees. Let butter melt till the oven reaches 475.
  • Beat the eggs till they are fluffy. Add the rest of Ingredients and mix till smooth.
  • When the oven reaches 475 degrees take out the pan with the melted butter. Move the melted butter to cover the edges of pan. Pour the mixture into the hot pan and place it back into the oven and cook till the edges start to turn to a golden brown approximately 15-20 minute ( the sides will raise about 3 to 5 inches above the edges of the pan while cookin in the oven).
  • Serve with Syrup, Cinnamon and sugar, jam, or powder sugar.
