ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 14 ounces tomatoes
- 1 potato, cubed
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 14 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup rice
- 1⁄2 cup macaroni
- 24 ounces Veg-All
directions
- Brown ground beef.
- Add all but rice and macaroni, do not drain.
- let cook until potatoes are medium soft.
- add rice and cook 10 minutes.
- add macaroni and let cook until tender.

Very very good. The only thing I'll need to do next time is add a 14 ounce can of water. As the soup cooked it became very thick. I might even add the water with the rice before the tomatoes and juice. That way the rice will cook better. Or I could skip the water and use leftover cooked rice would work too. I adopted this chef for the *Spring PAC 2008* game

This recipe brings back fond memories. As a little girl, growing up in Georgia, I used to also visit my adopted American grandmother's house, and when she made this soup, it reminded me of comfort and love. She used fresh tomatoes from her garden that she had canned in large jars and added fresh okra. Thank you Icancook for such a wonderful recipe.
