DIRECTIONS

  • Cream shortening, sugar together then egg.
  • Add molasses, stir.
  • Sift in dry ingredients (Double Spices if you like).
  • Roll into balls.
  • Drop in sugar.
  • Bake in 350 F oven for 10-12 minutes.
