These were a must on my list of cookies to make for family, friends, co-workers and neighbors this year. I loved these and my DS couldn't leave them alone. I actually had to make 2 batches to have enough for everyone. I used more nuts, as we all love them. I rolled mine in the powdered sugar after cooking, as that is how I have always had them and they are so delicious! They make a nice contrast to the other cookies I am making and will be enjoyed for sure!

My son and I made these this afternoon. The recipe calls for milk, but then it is left out of the directions (no bid deal!!!). So instead of adding it all at the same time, I completed step 2 (minus nuts) then added 1/3 of flour mixture, then 1/2 of the milk, another 1/3 flour, rest of milk, and ended with the remaining flour. Worked perfectly. I also rolled the dough in the powdered sugar before baking, rather than after. Instead of the nuts, I used a handful of chocolate chips. These were great! The only reason for the 4 stars is for the slight confusion in the directions. Hopefully I remember to take a picture before they are all gone! Thanks for posting, they are yummy.
