Glazed Peach Creme

- 2 packages peach Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3⁄4 cup cold water
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup sliced peach
- 3⁄4 cup cold water
directions
- Dissolve 1 package of jello in 1 cup boiling water and ice cream.
- Pour jello/ice cream mixture into a glass bowl or individual sherbets; chill for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, mix together other package of jello and boiling water.
- When jello is dissolved, add 3/4 cup of cold water; set aside.
- Arrange peach slices on top of cold jello/ice cream mixture.
- Carefully spoon or pour the other jello mixture that you set aside on top of peaches.
- Refrigerate for 3 hours to set.

I ran across the original ad with this recipe in it from 1977 (see picture). It was very good. The difference was the sequence (Audery's sounds better) of making the Jello and they did not add 3/4 cup cold water to the ice cream mixture. I made the recipe from the ad but wanted a digital copy and found this one. I will make again with different flavors to change it up.
