Good recipe. Yields a very nice dough that I could also see using for breadsticks or savoury rolls. 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to coat the dough balls with some olive oil in order to get the topping to adhere. A+ for flavor & ease of preparation. I am going to try fresh garlic in the monkey topping next time and mozarella instead of cheddar. Your recipe has given me some great ideas for creative bread! Thanks.

This monkey bread was a nice change of pace from the same old garlic bread. I did like it and everyone at the dinner party liked it but we all felt like something was missing. Not sure what... maybe the butter taste that generally goes along with garlic-cheese bread. Other than being a little dry it was good.

This is me on the beach (at sunrise) from a southern vacation a few years ago. After loosing more than 50 pounds I am not so shy about bathing suits, beaches or pools as I used to be.
