• 1 lb fish fillet
• 1 cup flour
• 1⁄2 cup cornmeal
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄4 cup shortening or 1/4 cup oil

directions

1. Rinse fish.
2. Mix flour and corn meal and salt and pepper.
3. Heat shortening or oil to high.
4. Fry fish to golden brown on both sides and enjoy.
