Frosty Peach Bread

Frosty Peach Bread created by magpie diner

From cdkitchen.com. This is a delicious bread. Loved the frosting on it. You can always make 2 small loafs instead of one large loaf.

Good bread, moist, etc. but really lacked peach flavor. I added a bit of grapefruit zest to the frosting and it helped kick up the flavor a bit. I also used a pear/apple yogurt instead of the sour cream - because that was all I had. And it came out fine. Maybe with fresh peaches it would pack more flavor.

Nice bread and nice change from banana bread. I'm not getting a whole lot of the peach flavour, maybe that will be better tomorrow as one reviewer suggested. Based on other reviews I doubled up on the cinnamon as well. I also made it non dairy by using tofutti sour cream, ener-g egg replacer and earth balance "butter". It's very moist and light and we really like the glaze on top. I'd definitely make this again! Thanks for sharing...!

This is a very moist bread. I read the other reviews and the only changes i made was to add 1/2 tsp of apple pie spice, and a little of teh peach juice. I did not frost it, it is wonderful alone. I brought it to a brunch, and everyone loved it. Thanks for sharing!
