  1. Nice change to carrots, I tweaked it a bit by crumbling some crispy bacon and added a bit of the bacon drippings. Some of the carrots got a little carmelized which added to the flavor!

  2. Wonderful! I quartered baby carrots and used 1/2 of an onion. Cooking this way really brings out the natural sweetness of the carrots. I loved it! Thanks so much for posting!!

  3. What a great and different way to prepare carrots! I cooked them in a small amount of butter and oil. Yum, yum. The onions added a really surprising and unexpected flavor to the carrots. We REALLY enjoyed this combination. Thanks for sharing this winner, Marlene. I plan on making them over and over.

  4. Love carrots and this is very different from my norm, but very good. Thanks!

  5. I can't say it enough how much I love it when something so simple can taste so good. I made this as a side for dinner tonight and I think I could have eaten the entire bowl myself!! I absolutely loved this dish! I think the onions really compliment the carrots nicely. I used baby carrots and sliced them about 1/4 inch thick. I used a nonstick pan so instead of using cooking spray I just added a few tsp of olive oil. The were ready in about 10 minutes. Quick, easy and delicious. And fat free to boot! Even my husband couldn't stop raving about them. This one will definately be part of my regular meal rotations. Thank you for sharing!!!
