Fabulous recipe. I really enjoyed this and can't wait to make this for my crew next time they're here for a weekend. Added to my Best of 2021 Cookbook and can't wait to have it again. Thanks for sharing, Lynn and congrats on your football win.

Amazing recipe...I used Sara Lee Delightful (45 cals for two slices)'s very thin...but this mixture made the bread puff up...almost double in size...I was so full after eating it...that I think I'll be making my french toast this way in the takes more time than just whisking egg and milk together...but it's so worth it...served it with maple syrup...and a side of bacon...made for "FYC" tag game...YUM!

I now have a new method to use to make French Toast. Loved the crispy outside and the fully cooked insides! My DS had me make some with the cinnamon and some without (not his favorite spice - gasp!) and both worked well. Absolutely perfect recipe! So glad I found it during ZWT8.
