  • Kabobs

  • 6 cups fresh fruit, peeled, cut into bite-size pieces (use strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, honeydew and or cantaloupe)
  • 6 -8 wooden skewers
  • Poppyseed Dip

  • 12 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 teaspoon poppy seed

  • Arrange fruit cubes and slices alternately on skewers.
  • For Poppyseed Dip, stir together remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Serve dip alongside fruit kabobs.

  1. Last night I had a three course meal dinner party, and I have to say that your desert was everyone's favorite course. They all wanted a recipe, and were yelling at me when I was going to throw out one leftover piece of fruit, lol. This one is a keeper!
     
  2. A nice sweet dessert without any guilt. I used fat free vanilla yogurt and it worked well. I skewered chunks of pineapple and canteloupe. It's quite kid-friendly. Thanx for a cool healthy dessert!
