DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease and flour dust a 10 or 12 cup pan.
  • Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon until well blended.
  • Stir in oil, eggs and vanilla until mixed well.
  • Then add apples and walnuts and stir until blended.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool for 10 minutes in pan before cutting into squares.
