"Yum! A wonderful recipe from Gooseberry Patch from "Our Favourite Harvest Recipes" book. Easy and very good with Recipe #388552, which is what was listed with this in their cookbook. Enjoy!"

  • Toss apples with cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar; set aside.

I prepared to cakes with this quantity: a bunt cake of about 9 inches (for give away) and a smaller rectangular one for us. After 40 minutes I reduced the heat (air forced oven) from 350°F to about 300°F to prevent surface to turn to dark. The cake was fantastic: juicy and at the same time the upper surface crunchy! A real keeper!

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
