- 2 cups French dressing or 2 cups Catalina dressing

Great flavor. I've made this several times, today I have no red bell pepper, but want to make a few suggestions on my part. It does not take anywhere near that much dressing. I just go by sight, I hate real soggy coleslaw. I added a pinch of sugar, it's just a little too tart to me. And a little bit of salt, too. So, simple!!Reply

I love coleslaw and am always on the lookout for new interpretations. Using Catalina dressing is a great idea because it has the sweetness that makes a good coleslaw dressing. I didn't have green pepper and don't like raw onions, so I added some chopped tomato instead. Not a traditional coleslaw ingredient, but it worked well.Reply
