ingredients
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 green pepper, julienned
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup wine vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
directions
- Mix veggies with salt.
- Let stand one hour.
- Squeeze out juice.
- Set aside.
- Boil vinegar, sugar and seeds.
- Cool.
- Mix with veggies.
- Put into small freezer proof containers.
- (Butter bowls work great).
