Forget the Steak Sauce marinade!!

"This sticky stuff is wonderful. It grills to a nice crusty coating on steak. I prefer this on really thick cuts of meat. I've been making this a couple of years and have tweeked it to my liking but I think I got the recipes from ALLRECIPES.COM"

  1. We just purchased a bbq pit and were dying to try any marinade. This particular one was really good and flavorful! Maybe a bit strong but I did add a tad more garlic. :) Thanks for the recipe!!

  2. Sorry, I did not like the combo of flavors.

  3. I thought this was very good, we used it on club steaks. I think next time, I may cut down the oregano, for some reason it was a little much for me, but my husband said that it was perfect.

  4. Delicious! I was very impressed with the flovor. I'm the type that ALWAYS uses bar-b-q sauce no matter what. But this steak definately did not need it. I froze the steaks in the marinade and defrosted them in the fridge overnight. I will definately use this recipe again.

  5. This was delicious!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Totally Awesome!! So tender, moist and flavorful. This is definitely in my special, exceptional, cookbooks. Thanks so much Lynn13

I love to cook with friends. Grilling out by the pool is one of our favorite pastimes. One of my passions is surfing for new recipes. I love to travel. If had a carefree free month off I would propably start my travels by driving up the east and west coasts visiting winerys and looking for great local restaurants. My pet peeves are people that talk with food in their mouths, or eat while talking on the phone and double dipping breadsticks or chips.
