- Ready In:
- Combine everything in 3 quart or larger glass or ceramic casserole, or large microwave rice cooker.
- Microwave on High 10 minutes, then on half power 25 minutes, or until tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Fluff with a fork and serve hot!

Forbidden Rice is somewhat expencive, I mixed 1/8 of a cup with one cup of regular white rice to make what I thought would be a "Salt and pepper look" Suprise all the rice turned out black or dark purple anyway, with a diferent taste. I used a rice cooker, but I guess stove top would work too.1Reply
