DIRECTIONS

  • Peel and trim the potatoes into a column or barrel shape.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large sauce pan and brown both ends of the potatoes.
  • Add the stock, butter, garlic and sage and bring to the boil. The stock should virtually cover the potatoes.
  • Season and simmer for 40 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through.
