This was my first recipe using flax seeds and I was pleasantly surprised! These had a fluffy texture (not gummy at all) and the sweetness was perfect. The additions of apples, carrots, and coconut really add to the texture. To me, these tasted like a good bran muffins and didn't taste "too healthy" like I feared! Thanks MaeEast. Roxygirl Roxygirl

Yummy!! My tummy is very happy! and what a great way to make bran and flax meal taste great. My son thought they were a 4 star but dh and I think 5 star. I did mess with the recipe a tiny bit by adding a bit of chopped walnuts. I used the bran cereal that I had on hand(Bran Buds, I think), and lowfat milk since it was what I had in the house. I will definitely be making these again. Thank you.
