  1. This is the absolute best waffle recipe of all time. I use 1 and 1/4 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup flax meal. The waffles turn out crispy, flavorful and dont' get soggy under the maple syrup and fruit we heap on. This is our new Sunday tradition for about 4 months now and its by far the best waffle I've tasted. (and I am a waffleholic)

  2. These are the best healthy waffles I've ever had. I was worried because the batter ended up really runny, but they turned out perfectly. A little sugar and butter instead of vegetable oil would have made it 5 stars, but way less healthy.

  3. Added a tsp of vanilla and a dash of cinnamon. Also added a handful of mini chocolate chips to the first batch. Perfect consistency , wonderful taste. Will definitely be making again :)

  4. I double the recipe using 1 -1/4 cup whole milk, 2 cups van Soy milk instead of 4 cups of milk. Added a splash of vanilla and two table spoons of sugar. Replaced veg oil with 1/2 cup of melted butter. Now they are The best waffles ever.
