  1. I like this steeped in my mug pouring the boiling water on top of the spices. I use the cayenne option and it is wonderfully hot spicy but almost smooth because of the raw honey. I like to add a bit more per preference. It sooths my throat. Yes! for no drugs! I would make this again.

  3. Yesterday I woke up with a bad cold and sinus infection, and I've been trying to shake it with little to no success. I just made this recipe, and I already feel much better. And it tastes great, too. Thank you!

  4. Rita, you are the most amazing lady, you and Sharon have such wonderfully therapeutic methods to always help ease your mind, your physical well-being, and comfort for your soul. This is no exception. I had this stinking little sore throat that has hung on for a week or so, and I found this to be satisfying, and it works. I used the *sore throat* option with the cayenne (since I love cayenne powder) and just enjoyed sitting down and letting this seep down my throat. The ginger and honey along with the clove also make a wonderfully layered taste just to enjoy for the heck of it. This is really great, Rita! And I thank you! Made for *November Clove Month* in Gardening & Herb forum Fall 2008.

  5. Rita, this is a lovely soothing tea. I had a sore throat this morning, but after drinking your tea, I am feeling better. Thank You for posting this recipe. I used organic honey, fresh ginger, fresh squeezed lemon juice, clove, anise, and cinnamon. A tasty and spicy combination.
