  • 1 12 cups eggnog
  • 5 large eggs
  • 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon rum extract
  • 12 12 slices thick slices challah or 12 slices French bread

directions

  • Preheat griddle to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl whisk together eggnog, eggs, nutmeg, Cinnamon, and rum extract until well blended. Pour into a small/medium shallow baking dish and dip bread slices into mixture, then rotate and coat opposite side. Transfer to buttered griddle and cook until bottom is golden brown then flip and cook opposite side until golden brown.

  1. This was wonderful. I used sliced brioche bread. I forgot to add the white sugar to the topping so just sprinkled it on top as it went into the oven. Very sweet and decadent.
