  1. So glad that you posted this here. Great breakfast that we have made for many, many years - Grandpa originally taught the grandkids how to make these. Thanks Devon S.

  2. I've been making these since my grown kids went to elementary school (a looong time) and love them! I've never added water to the egg, though. I also coat the bowl with a non-stick spray and microwave for 60 seconds. You could use a slim slice of deli ham instead of bacon, that's delicious, too, just add light mayo in place of the butter. I've been wondering why nobody else ever thought of it before!

  3. This was awesome. I have never cooked an egg in the microwave but it tasted so good. I make it easy and usually use a couple slices of deli ham instead of bacon. I also butter the muffin. This was an awesome easy recipe. Thanks.

  1. Look THIS IS CRAZY! Maybe a good sandwich. But the BEST in NJ, RIDICULOUS! Nothing from McDonald's could be the Best. Fact The MOST famous & *BEST* breakfast sandwich in NJ as Kelly C , stated is.... A PORK ROLL, EGG, & CHEESE on a HARD ROLL. Say anything else and you are definitely not from NJ! How You Doin' ?

  3. I make these on the stove top for my BF on his way to work--we use Canadian Bacon instead of regular bacon, and on some occasions, smoked ham if we have it on hand--quick, easy, and alot less fat and sodium that McDonald's!! Thanks for a great recipe!!!! TERESA
