Easy Pesto Shirataki Noodles

ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package tofu shirataki noodles, spaghetti shaped
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 -2 tablespoon pesto sauce (I use a pre-made frozen pesto, fresh is best!)
directions
- Rinse and drain tofu noodles very well.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute and rinse and drain again.
- You may want to pat dry with a paper towel.
- Meanwhile, heat skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tofu noodles and saute 2 or 3 minutes until noodles appear dried.
- Add butter and pesto sauce and heat 2 or 3 more minutes until butter and pesto cover the noodles.
- Enjoy!

Great recipe: super easy, super quick, super delicious; and - if the mood so takes you - there's scope for adding a few more ingredients if you have just a few more minutes available! But seriously, the recipe is great exactly as it is. I used an excellent quality pesto from a long-trusted Greek deli, and made this exactly to the recipe. This will be a regular quick meal for me now, Brooke! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

These were really yummy noodles and so quick and easy. I already had some homemade pesto sauce prepared, so it took me no time to have this ready for my family today when I felt too busy to cook! I had a little trouble trying to decide how to adjust this to make enough for my family. I think the serving sizes are a little large, but maybe it's just me. Thanks Brooke! Made for Zaar Tag.

These noodles rule! (I keep waiting for the announcement that the nutrition information on the package is incorrect, since surely they're too good to be true.) Step#2 took more like 10 minutes for the noodles to appear dried. I omitted the butter, instead splurging on some romano and asiago cheese. Thanks for sharing another easy way to enjoy shirataki noodles! Made for the Photo Tag Game.

<br>I have been a member of Zaar for awhile now and found that I love it! I have tried so many recipes and many new foods that I never would have without Zaar.

<br>I work full-time at a university in Wisconsin, it allows me to travel a bit and see the rest of the state, I work with a lot a great people and am really happy in my job.
<br>
<br>When I'm not working, I spend time with my hubby and 12 year old son. My son has picked up my love for cooking, a few of the things he makes are - naan bread, cookies, and quick breads, I'm so proud of him! In our family we also have two cocker spaniels, our puppy Laci (above) and Peanut, that we adore like they were our children.

<br>We live in an old farm house that we are remodeling (did the library and the kitchen so far....) on the outskirts of town. Close enough where my hubby can bike to work in the summer, but far enough away from campus that we don't have to lock down our lawn ornaments in fear of college pranks!
