I am from southern Louisiana, right in the heart of Cajun Country. Although at the moment I am residing in Delhi India. I have been here over two years, but am coming back home next month. I got married here, and I cannot wait to get bck to Cajun Country. I am a nurse by profession and my hobbies are cooking, crafting, gardening, home canning, and when I get vacation time I love to travel. My passions are trekking in the mountains, and have had the pleasure to do this in the Himalayas on several occasions. I do not have one favorite cookbook, as I collect them, and have many, some dating back from the 1800's, which was my great grandmothers. I treasure them all, but I do use one Amish cookbook quite often.
