  • Heat oil in pan.
  • Add onion and cook on medium heat until softened.
  • Add the kidney beans and tomatoes, then stir in the rest of the ingredients.
  • Bring to a slight boil.
  • Simmer for approx 20 minutes (longer if you like), stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with rice.

  1. Yumm!! I did add some garlic (can't help myself). The addition of golden syrup was a twist, (could you be Australian?). This is a definite keeper.
     
  2. These were good and certainly easy to prepare. I used kidney and romano beans. Although I did not add other spices I felt it needed a bit more. Garlic and Worchest. sauce may have put it over the edge. Still a good recipe to build on.
