• Ingredients: 7
• Yields: 12 1inch cookies

ingredients

• 6 teaspoons butter
• 3 teaspoons sugar
• 3 teaspoons brown sugar
• 1 pinch salt
• 1⁄4 cup flour
• 1⁄8 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1⁄8 teaspoon baking soda

directions

1. Cream together butter, sugars and salt.
2. Add flour, cream of tartar and baking soda.
3. Bake for 5 minutes.

Cookies tasted pretty good, but did not cook. I think youo need to put the thinnest of layers of batter in the cooking tin.

I made these with my little cousins who live next door. We printed the recipe & followed it EXACTLY. We baked the cookies for 5 minutes but it didn't cook at all! So, we ended up baking them for 10-12 minutes. They turned out to be scorched "pancakes". Some of the cookies were still VERY soft at 10 minutes and the best were so soft & the ends of the cookies were scorched. I knew it from the moment I see the batter! The taste were OK though. To make it better, we dissolve powdered sugar in water & we added a drop of red food coloring & vanilla extract. PINK GLAZE! At least they had fun glazing their own cookies!

Please let me edit the last review. It was sent via my 13 and 10 year old who clearly did not know what they were doing. I did not okay the 3 star review. Let me just say that this was a great recipe. This tasted like a sugar cookie and I thought it was good and easy to make. We added sprinkles to the batter and it was pretty too. Sorry for any confusion my little bakers may have caused.
