ingredients
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can French onion soup (Campbells condensed, made with beefstock. The can does not say soup but I had to add it on for the r)
- 1⁄3 cup water (optional)
- 1⁄2 cup crouton
- 1 slice provolone cheese
directions
- Heat the soup on the stove or in a bowl in the microwave.
- Add croutons.
- Top with cheese.
- Let cheese melt.
- It's that easy! Enjoy!

I do like me homemade french onion soup. I'll post it sometime. but this is great. Dinner in minutes and it is good (wish I could find low sodium Campbells onion soup but I suppose spurging once a while won't hurt. I put it under the broiler and used a piece of french bread since that is what I had. I did have the cheese. Thanks for a great quick recipe. I will definitely make it again.When I have time I'd probably use my grandma's recipe but this is a keeper.
