- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 medium cooking apples, pared, cored and diced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
- whipped cream
directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F Butter a 9 inch pie pan.
- Beat eggs and sugar together until light and frothy. Add apples, flour, baking powder, salt and pecans. Spread in the pan and bake at 350 F until brown and crusty, about 25 minutes. Serve warm, but not hot, with whipped cream.
