  • 2 lbs baby carrots
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 12 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 2 tsps dried)
  • salt and pepper

directions

  • Cook carrots in water in a covered skillet until barely tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Uncover and add sugar, orange juice and butter. Add dill.
  • Cook over high heat until most of the water has evaporated and carrots are lightly glazed. Taste for seasoning.

  2. A nice lightly glazed carrot that is really easy to make. I rinsed off the baby carrots, placed them in a microwave safe bowl and cooked them until crisp tender. They were then added to the sauce and cooked until most had evaporated. A delicious side with <a href="/177323">Tasty Collard Greens</a>.
