Delicious Turkey (Meat) Loaf

"This turkey loaf looks like a meatloaf but really should be described all on its own! I used my favourite meatloaf recipe and then got creative. I hope your family enjoys this as much as mine did tonight! The next time I make this I will double the recipe to freeze one for later."

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a medium sized skillet, warm the oil and add in the garlic and onions. Saute until the onions appear clear. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients, setting aside one of the 1/4 cups of ketchup. Mix just until well combined. Add in the sauteed onions and garlic. Mix.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and brush the top with the remaining ketchup.
  • Bake for about 50 - 55 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer registers 160 degrees.F.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 to15 minutes before slicing.
