Delicious Fresh Apple Cookies

"These are really good cookies, topped off with a glaze. Just make certain to glaze the cookies when still hot. If you do not have any apple juice, then use the same amount of milk instead. The glaze can be doubled if desired. Yield is only estimated, depending on how large the cookies are."

I just felt like something other than a muffin with my morning cup of tea this week, so I made these cookies...They were absolutely delicious. They were a cakey kind of cookie so it went well with my tea. I forgot to take the pic when I still had all the cookies though....so took it when there were a few left. Mine though required 15 minutes in the oven. What surprised me was I actually made 36 cookies....that never happens to me with cookies or muffins I am always off by some. The only thing I didn't do was put in any nuts. But these were so yummy....Thanks for sharing Kitten.

This was an excellent cookie. I only put apples and didn't do the raisins or nuts. They were soooo good! The glaze was awesome too. But you must put it on when the cookies are hot. I used 1/2 teaspoon of apple pie spice instead of the cloves.

Love these soft cookies! I used a flour combination of 1 c. brown rice flour/1 c. white and added pecans. Didn't make the glaze, although I was tempted. (Had to cut the calories somewhere :).

My son's teacher asked for apple cookies because they were tasting a different apple dish every day. This were a huge hit! She said she thinks it is the first time not one cookie was tossed in the trash. Thanks for a great recipe!

These are the best cookies I have ever had. I didnt glaze them, or add nuts/raisins as im not a fan of raisins and im always looking for a healthier option, I also used 2 egg whites 1/2 wheat flour and 1/2 white. Thank you sooo much for this great base for me to play around with.
