These are really great spice cookies! The dough was very easy to work with and the bake time was right on. When tasting them the same night I baked them, I thought they were a little bit bland. But, as in a lot of spice-based recipes, the next day the spices really came through and the cookies were excellent. We decorated them with confectioners' sugar icing and colored sugars and sprinkles, which added a needed sweetness. Thanks for sharing your favorite Christmas cookie recipe, Kree! P.S. I used butter instead of margarine, but otherwise didn't change a thing.
