  1. Darned good marinade... for chicken! Marinated 7 thighs for 2 hours then grilled over indirect heat. Boiled leftover marinade until thickened with an additional 2T honey. This was delicious! Will be keeping this one handy for summer entertaining! Thank you friedym... for a great versatile recipe!

  2. We love Bulgogi! This is how I make ours. Except I add a good amount of sriracha or gojuchang to the marinade. Just yum!

  3. DH said was "very close" to what he had in korea but needs MORE GARLIC...i made it gogi bokum (stir-fry)...so next time i'll add alot of garlic...served with Recipe #72774 ....and rice EDIT: i didn't have sake...used rice vinegar instead

  5. Very good stuff! I used a bit of sriracha sauce instead of the red pepper and let it marinate for 2-3 hours. I have never eaten bulgogi, so I wasn't sure what it should be like. I think this would be fantastic grilled, but since that wasn't an option for me this time, I threw it all (marinade and everything) in a stir-fry pan and cooked it on the stove. It was very good this way. Would be fantastic with rice, but I ended up having it alongside some leftover cilantro cole slaw from Recipe #100798, which actually complemented the bulgogi quite well!
