Dairy Free, Soy Free Protein Shake

"A dairy and soy free alternative to milk shakes which I developed when I was run out of almond milk and rice milk. I used almond butter, but you can use peanut butter or cashew butter as well. The whey protein I use is microfiltrated whey protein which is completely lactose and casein free."

  1. I enjoyed this healthy start to my day, and now feel ready for anything. The only change I made was to use chia seeds in place of the flaxseed oil. I had ground flaxseed meal but not the oil. It turned out great and I loved that it was dairy free. It thickens up nicely due to the frozen banana and a little extra blending time. I loved the blueberry and almond nut butter combination.
