- 1 tablespoon almond butter, or
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 scoop whey protein powder
- 1 tablespoon flax seed, ground
- 1 tablespoon flax seed oil
- 1⁄3 banana, frozen
- 1 tablespoon blueberries, frozen
- 1 cup water
- artificial sweetener, to taste (optional)
directions
- Put everything in a blender and blend until creamy and fluffy.

I enjoyed this healthy start to my day, and now feel ready for anything. The only change I made was to use chia seeds in place of the flaxseed oil. I had ground flaxseed meal but not the oil. It turned out great and I loved that it was dairy free. It thickens up nicely due to the frozen banana and a little extra blending time. I loved the blueberry and almond nut butter combination. Thank you!
