  • Pour,and arrange fruit in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Combine brown sugar and curry and stir well.
  • Sprinkle over fruit and dot with margarine.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated and bubbly around edges.

  1. Wow, this is really good. Made just as stated. I think it could even use a bit more curry powder but that's my taste buds.....I like curry powder. I may make this again around the holidays. Made for the football pools 2010.
     
  2. We like this recipe a lot on holiday ham and turkey. A variant substitutes a 15 ounce can of whole cranberry sauce for the cherries and 1/2 tsp allspice powder for the curry. You could probably experiment with mixtures of cranberry/cherry and allspice/curry.
     
  3. Followed the recipe pretty much, but did cut back on the amount of curry powder (using almost 3/4 teaspoon)! VERY, VERY NICE combo of fruits & so easy to make, too!
