  1. Great appetizer! Very easy to make and very elegent presentation, even my children enjoyed nibbling on these tasty treats. The mix of flavors is perfect. I served this at a formal cocktail party and they were very well received. I made 4X the recipe so I would use 1 8oz brick of cream cheese. I only used 3 shallots vs.4 because I didn't want the onion to over power the taste and my shallots seemed a little strong. I pre-made these in the morning before the party. I did not salt the cucumbers because I didn't know if it would make them watery sitting for the day until the party so I left that step out. I was asked several times for the recipe -it's a keeper.
