"I have no idea where this came from - torn from a magazine at some stage . Preparation time does not include time to boil potatoes."

  • Preheat oven 180 C.
  • Roughly crush cooked potatoes.
  • Toss with remaining ingredients.
  • Season well.
  • Loosely pack into an ovenproof dish.
  • Bake 20 minutes.

  2. Okay, I started here and before you know it, I'd added garlic and onions. It happens sometimes. I had some beautiful oil cured black olives which I think made it a 5 star dish for me, and a 3 strar for DH. SO we split the difference and had a great addition to last night's dinner. Made for Looney Spoon Phoodies ZWT6 Greece leg 'o the Tour.

  4. These are really the simplest and yummiest potatoes I've had in ages. I boiled the potatoes, then Russ took over not knowing I had chosen a particular recipe. He had minced 2 cloves of garlic before I set him straight but I think they were an excellent addition.
     
  5. I am torn between 4 and 5 stars. I liked the taste of the potatoes, but other diners didn't. I loved that the olives added the salt and I didn't really need to add any. I should have broiled them at the end to get them nice and toasty, but I didn't. Mine turned out nice and "white", thats why I didn't post my photos.
