  1. If I want to double the recipe, do I need to increase the cooking time?

  1. I followed the recipe as written, including using Sweet Baby Ray's sauce. It was good, but a bit too sweet for my family's taste. When I use the leftovers for nachos, I think I'll add something to give it a bit more oomph...I'm thinking Spicy Montreal Steak seasoning or something like that.

  2. I like that you put all this in the crockpot and let it do it's thing. So easy and tasty. Made a lot for just my husband and I so maybe next time I'll halve it. Used a bbq sauce recipe from another chef and it turned out great.

  3. I made this for a cookout and my daughter made a spicey coleslaw. We put it on rolls and added the coleslaw on top.....YUMMY! Everyone loved it!

  4. I love sandwiches, and all of my 7 kids loved which never happens.I used season instead of the salad dressing.

  5. Followed the recipe except I think there were only 5 chicken breasts(a little over three lbs.) Excellent! My 5 year old even asked for more and kept saying how good it is.

A teacher & Literacy Coach for Harrisburg City School District. I didn't start cooking until I met my husband. He didn't agree that we should eat out or order in every night despite my lack of cooking experience. So I checked out latest edition of The Joy of Cooking from the library and began cooking for him. Needless to say, I found out I actually enjoy my own cooking more than most restaurants. It's become a new hobby for me along with tending to my garden and reading!
