- 1 (3 -4 lb) roast
- 3 -4 bay leaves
- 3⁄4 cup vinegar
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 3⁄4 cups ketchup
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon pickling spices
- 30 gingersnap cookies
directions
- Put all ingredients in crock pot with enough water to cover meat.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Remove meat.
- Slice meat.
- Put meat back into gravy.
