  1. So good!! I didn't add the lemon pepper and I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned and I chose to use chicken broth. Everyone gobbled it up! The gravy was amazing and the chicken was fall off the bone delicious. Thanks!!

  2. I made a low-fat version of this to fit into our diet. I substituted lowfat yogurt for the sour cream, and used Cambell's Healthy Choice cream of mushroom. It still tasted like total 'comfort food', at a mere fraction of the fat and calories. This is a real keeper! Fantastic

  3. Great recipe ! I've done it with chicken breasts as well. Another option is to add a bit of dry lipton onion soup mix, changes it up a bit. Great on beef tips but with red wine. Oh and fried pork chops.

  4. I made this a couple of weeks ago. My husband and daughter ate it right up. The only thing that I really didn't like was using the bone in chicken because it falls right apart and then you have all these bones somewhere in the soup. I think it would be better with boneless chicken and a little more spices.

  5. Wonderful! Set it and forget it, come home to an amazing smell that paid off well. I used chicken broth and it was a little soupy. Added 1Tbs cornstarch diluted in half cup of water, and voila!

Hi! I live in the Midwest and find that the seasons really affect the foods my family craves. My crock pot gets a real work out in the winter and the grill from Spring to late fall. I have a wonderful wife that gave me this membership for my birthday and a two year old daughter that is the light of my life. I love to cook. Some people find it tedious and more work than it’s worth.(my wife) Not me, I find the kitchen to be a place to escape from all the other stress in my life and create something to be enjoyed by family and friends. That’s all I have to say about that!
