What great flavor! I reduced the recipe by half using one AmberPort craft beer. I emptied in the full pkt of brown gravy mix and spices in place of the soup mix. About half way thru the cooking process it was very thick so I added 1 cup of water. It worked out perfectly and at the end there was a lovely gravy to ladle over rice. I also added 2 garlic cloves & 1 sliced onion at the beginning. Next time I even might add sliced mushrooms. The beef has a nice earthy & complex flavor. I will definitely be making this again!1Reply
