Crock Pot Apple Oatmeal

"This oatmeal is so easy! I make it right before I go to bed, and I turn the crock pot off as soon as I get up. Everyone in my house loves it! Found this in 'Fix it and Forget it.' I also have to add in reference to some of the reviews, our family likes it mushy."

I really liked this, I only cooked it for 31/2 hours so it wasn't too mushy, used craisins instead of raisins, almonds instead of walnuts and maple syrup on top, just awesome.

I loved this, it is kinda like when you were a kid and Mom woke you up with breakfast on the table. It really is mushy but that's the way I like my oatmeal; I added frozen cranberries instead of raisins.

The taste was fine. My husband said "not bad," too mushy for me and my daughter. I didn't used the apple, raisins and honey and I used Smart Balance instead of butter and brown sugar blend instead of real brown sugar. I will only make it again if my husband asks for it, otherwise I will have to get up earlier and make it the old fashioned way.
