- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, minced
- 1⁄2 chopped bell pepper
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups cooked tomatoes (canned is fine)
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups cooked cauliflower
directions
- Melt butter in a saucepan; add onion and bell pepper, lightly brown
- Blend in flour; add tomatoes and salt
- Heat to boiling point and cook for approximately 3 minutes, stirring constantly
- Add cauliflower and heat through. Serve on buttered toast
