  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
  • Add the onions and cook on medium for about 7 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and garlic, together with the broth, cover skillet and cook until the mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the wine and spices and bring back to a gentle boil. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the sour cream and simmer until the sauce is thickened to desired consistency. (Add more broth or sour cream if needed to adjust consistency.).
  • Serve immediately over pork, beef or chicken.
