Creamy Maple Frosting

This is a great frosting from "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World." It's great and pairs perfectly with #rz.190849 Maple Cupcakes. Note: I edited the recipe to remove the option to use regular powdered milk. I think that might have made the recipe gritty as one reviewer noted.

- 2⁄3 cup maple syrup
- 3⁄4 cup margarine (softened)
- 2⁄3 cup soymilk powder
- 1 teaspoon maple extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions
- Beat together the softened margarine and maple syrup. It might look a little curdly, but that's ok.
- Beat in the maple and vanilla extracts.
- Slowly add the soymilk powder.
- The frosting should be creamy and fluffy. If it looks too wet, add more soymilk powder. If it looks too dry, add more maple syrup.
