  • DRESSING:

  • In small bowl, combine crème fraîche, yogurt, curry powder, and salt. Stir to mix well. Taste for seasoning.
  • SALAD:

  • Place cucumbers in shallow bowl.
  • Pour dressing over the cucumbers and toss gently to coat evenly.
  • TIP: Toss salad just before serving, because cucumbers will give off a fair amount of liquid, even if they have already been salted and drained.

I used thick creme fraiche and 1 teaspoon of madras curry powder for a DEELISH dip/salad! LOVED this, but then I love cukes and curry! Made for Veg'N'Swap June 2010 and a keeper for me. FT:-) (Photos to be posted)

This was a nice, fresh and super creamy salad that had a lovely tangy flavour to it. The curry was a special touch that I enjoyed, but I wish you had given some guidance on how much to use as I was a little lost and maybe added a tad too much. Other than that a wonderful little recipe that I will surely make again. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing it with us, mersaydees! Made and reviewed for Aussie/NZ Recipe Swap #41 June 2010.

This was a nice salad. I scaled it down for one and loved the curry flavor. I did add a little pepper too. Thanks! Made for the Vegetarian Swap-May 2010.
